COUNSELLOR BRISTOL │ COUNSELLING SERVICES
Sometimes relationships can go through difficulties which may seem too big to deal with on your own or where you have reached an impasse and don’t know what to do next. At those times it can be beneficial to seek the help of someone independent, who will support and guide you as you work through those difficulties together. I will work with you in a non-
We will explore the different aspects of the relationship and come to a better understanding of how come the current state of the relationship is not what you would hope for, so that you can move forward towards greater awareness and intimacy.
In my experience some of the most common problems which couples undergo are:
▪ Money Matters
▪ Communication Problems
▪ Cultural Differences
▪ Blended Families
▪ End Of Relationship
▪ Sexual Issues
Whatever the issues you are facing in your relationship, counselling can help you come to a better understanding of yourselves and of each other, and discover new depths and connections.

I have a great deal of experience working with children and teenagers, both in my roles within the teaching profession and as a counsellor. Since completing my initial training I have undergone studies in therapeutic play and attended many workshops which focus on children and young people.

ABOUT ME ― COUNSELLING BRISTOL
Before training to become a counsellor I taught for a number of years, primarily in secondary schools and worked also with years 5 and 6 in a primary school, where I had the pleasure of being able to develop positive relationships with children, young adults and their families. I particularly enjoyed my role as Head of Year, where I was able to work with the students, as individuals and in groups, who may be having difficulties in a whole variety of areas.
It was largely my experience of and interest in this type of work within the teaching context which led to my decision to train as a professional counsellor. I undertook my training at the University West of England in south Bristol and began my counselling service in St Andrews in 2011. I find it a great privilege to be able to accompany and therapeutically support my clients through new discoveries and changes in their lives.
I have also had experience of providing training to support staff in schools.
